Formatter by Zapier
is a built-in step for cleaning data, with four groups of . Text can trim spaces, change case, split, extract an email or URL, and replace words. Numbers can format currency and do calculations.
/Time can format a date, change its time zone and add days. Utilities handle , lookup tables (a small list that turns one value into another) and picking from a list. Other tools often clean data with expressions.
In Zapier you usually add one Formatter step per change instead. Formatter steps do not count as tasks on the current pricing page, so chaining several is fine. Learning Formatter well keeps you out of .
