Stage 7 · Lesson 5 of 7
After a bad week
Bad weeks happen to everyone: illness, family problems, a lost internship, a week of scrolling and avoiding. The worst thing you can do is spend the next week punishing yourself or waiting for the perfect moment to restart. Look back once, briefly and kindly: what happened, what pulled you off track, what can you learn?
Write two or three lines, not a confession. Then decide what can be dropped or delayed, because you probably cannot catch up on everything at once. Tell anyone affected, like a teacher, supervisor or teammate, early and honestly. Pick one small thing to do today.
Common traptrying to make up for the lost week with a heroic plan that is twice as hard, then failing again and feeling worse.
