Stage 7 · Lesson 1 of 7
Rest is part of the work
Many students and young professionals treat rest as something to earn, or feel guilty when not working. But focus is a limited resource: after long periods of hard thinking, quality drops, mistakes rise and procrastination grows. Rest restores it.
Good rest is not only sleep. It includes breaks in the day, time with friends and family, movement, prayer or quiet time, hobbies and at least part of a day each week with no study or work. Plan rest into your week as deliberately as study, especially before and after heavy periods like exams.
Common trapbelieving that more hours always means more progress, when tired hours often produce little and make the next day worse too.
