Stage 2 · Lesson 8 of 8
The five-second phone test
Most people see your profile first on a phone, often after tapping your name under a comment. Before they scroll, that view shows your photo, , and the start of your , and little else. Check the whole profile on your own phone.
Is the banner text readable? Is the headline cut off? Does the About section open with your main point?
Then do the real test from the milestone. Show your profile to two people for ten seconds and ask them to say what you do and who you help. If they cannot, the cause is usually a vague headline or too many competing messages, not missing details.
The goal is a : one clear message wherever someone lands. Fix what is unclear and test again.
