Stage 3 · Lesson 6 of 6
Choosing your circle
The people you spend most time with shape your habits, standards and mood. That does not mean dropping old friends for useful ones. It means noticing who leaves you energised and moving forward, and who leaves you drained or pulled into habits you are trying to change, such as skipping classes or endless gaming.
Spend a little more time with the first group, and set gentle limits with the second without cutting them off. Look for at least a few people who want similar things from life, even if their personalities differ from yours.
Common trapstaying in a circle out of habit or fear of being alone, when it no longer matches who you are becoming.
