Stage 3 · Lesson 5 of 6
Peers, not competitors
Being around ambitious peers can lift you, but it can also turn into constant comparison: who got the internship, who has the higher CGPA, who posted the offer on LinkedIn. Some comparison is useful when it shows you what is possible. When it makes you feel worthless or envious every day, change how you use it: celebrate others' wins out loud, ask them how they did it, and compare yourself with your own progress three months ago. Remember that people share wins, not rejections.
Common trapavoiding successful peers because they make you feel small. They are often the people most able to help you, and most willing when you ask.
