Stage 7 · Lesson 5 of 7
Living with the choice
Whichever way you choose, there will be some loss. If you follow your family's path, you may grieve the other life; if you follow yours, you may carry guilt or feel distance at home. These feelings are normal and do not mean you chose wrong.
Make room for them: talk to a friend, write about it, and remind yourself why you chose. Look for what you can still build inside the choice: a side project, a later switch, a closer relationship. If the sadness becomes heavy and stays for weeks, see the mental health roadmap at /roadmaps/mental-health/ and talk to a professional.
Common trapreplaying the decision every night, which keeps you half in each life.
