Stage 3 · Lesson 7 of 7
When the stress is about money
For many students and graduates, the real pressure is money: fees, family expectations to start earning, loans, or supporting younger siblings. Money stress is heavy because it feels urgent and shared with people you love. It helps to separate the feeling from the facts.
Write down the actual numbers: what you need each month, what you have, and when. Then list options, even imperfect ones: part-time or freelance work, a scholarship, a fee instalment plan, a short-term job outside your field while you keep searching.
Talk to one person who can help practically, such as a financial aid office or an older sibling.
Common trapcarrying it silently and alone, which makes the problem feel bigger and harder to solve than it often is.
